Beehives to 5!

Room 12 has been learning to count forwards and backwards to 5!

We made made a beehive with 5 buzzing bees!

We are learning the finger patterns to 5!

Football for Kids!

On Wednesday we got to play football with the coaches from Football for Children

 We got into 2 teams and played a game of football.

 We scored some goals!

 We practised kicking the ball.

 You use your feet in football to move the ball...

 not your hands!

 We learnt how to stop the ball with our feet...

and our bodies!

We had lots of fun playing football!

Learning about the letter L

This week Room 12 has been learning all about the letter l.

We read A Lion in the Meadow by Margaret Mahy

We read a poem all about lollipops

We have been practising writing the letter l

 

We made lots of lovely lions!

First we painted the lions face and mane.

Next we gave our lion eyes

and we drew on the lions nose and mouth.
We also added whiskers and ears to the lion.

Then we made sure our lion had a lovely mane.
